Thursday 24th January we were visited for the third year running by the
Spellbinder. The children were very excited by the visit and were not
left disappointed. The Spellbinder performed two shows during the day,
one for Key Stage 2 in the morning and one for Key Stage 1 in the afternoon.
The shows were aimed at introducing the children to stories from other
cultures around the world. Each story was set to music and a great deal
of effort was made to keep the story telling as visual and stimulating
as possible. Both shows were excellent and all of the children and staff
remained spellbound throughout the whole performance. By popular request
we have arranged for the Spellbinder to visit the school again next year.
