| During
February all of the children in the school took part in Music Week. The
week began with many of the children arriving in school with home made
instruments which they then had the opportunity to play and compose short
tunes with other children in their class. They also had a go at trying
to guess the favourite music track of each teacher in the school and spent
an afternoon painting to music. On Wednesday all of the children took
part in an African drumming workshop which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
It was pleasing to see the number of parents who joined their children
for this workshop. On Thursday afternoon all of the children got together
to take part in a big Pop Idol competition. |
